I do like the idea of the ammo cans.  I have 2 of the bigger ammo cans, I want to make one a stereo so the other may become a cooler now.

I would wrap the outside with rigid foam board (the pink stuff) and cammo duct tape it . To hold ice a lot longer. But the amount it held was great.
But I did loose a few due to empty spots allowing cans to beat around and puncture so empty cans need go back in their spot to prevent that
